"And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the LORD and praise Him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, 'Give thanks to the LORD, for His steadfast love endures forever.' And when they began to sing and praise, the LORD set an ambush against the men of Ammon..." 2 Chronicles 20:21-22

In the modern church, singing has been primarily given a feminine touch, emotive lyrics in soprano keys. But biblically, singing is the task of the warrior king and his army, a kingdom of priests.

Men of Redeemer, on January 23, 2026 at 7:00 PM, we will gather to sharpen our proverbial swords and spears for battle. We will spend the evening learning the tools of singing and how to better go to battle with the glad song of praise on our lips, the sword of the Spirit in our throats. Come and fellowship with the bretheren, be equipped, that you might be strong and quit yourselves like men.

There is a profound joy in gathering together as a community to celebrate the gift of Christ’s birth with a festive Christmas feast. As we share great food and heartwarming fellowship, we are reminded of God’s grace and the unity we have in Him. We warmly invite friends, family, and neighbors to join us in this time of rejoicing, reflecting the wonder of the season with thankful hearts and joyful spirits. Let us come together in faith and fellowship to honor our Savior and encourage one another.

Ladies, let's link arms together with the goal of building and growing culture through our homes, and spreading the glory of God with the work of our hands. Come to a workshop where one of our own ladies will teach a new skill that we can use to that end. 

Scripture commands us to "continually offer up a sacrifice of praise," to "make a joyful noise to the Lord," and to "play skilfully before the Lord." However, these skills don't come naturally - they require learning and practice! The Ladies of Redeemer are going to gather on November 14 for a workshop on singing, reading music, keeping rhythm and much more - all to the Glory of God! We hope you can join us for a fun evening, no matter your musical skill level.
